To the Moms Who Aren’t Having a Picture-Perfect Mother’s Day ...

You are not alone.

May 11, 2025

Let’s talk about the kind of Mother’s Day that doesn’t get posted on Instagram.

The one where you wake up to silence instead of breakfast in bed.
The one where you’re the one making the plans—or making sure everyone else’s day goes smoothly.
The one where you're scrolling through smiling photos of other moms being celebrated and wondering quietly, “Why not me?”

If that’s you, I want you to know something:
I see you.

I see the mom who’s grieving her own mother.
The mom who’s missing her children—because they live far away, or because of fractured relationships, or unimaginable loss.
The mom who's navigating Mother’s Day alone, even though she's surrounded by people.

I see the mom who pours into her kids, her spouse, her in-laws, her job, her world—but doesn’t get that same energy returned.
The one who tries not to ask for too much, but deep down wishes someone would simply say, “You matter. You’re doing great. Let me take care of you today.” and back it by action.

You are not alone.

Not every Mother’s Day is wrapped in flowers and spa days and long handwritten cards. Some days are just about getting through. And if you're in that space today—I want to tell you something that no social media feed ever will:
You're enough. You’ve always been enough. You don’t need a brunch reservation or perfect family photo to validate your worth.

You’ve carried so much. You’ve loved deeply. And whether you feel it or not today—you are worthy of being celebrated.

Here's what you can do—for you:
Create your own ritual today. Take yourself out. Book a massage or a treatment at our spa in Lansdale. Light a candle. Cry if you need to. Journal. Breathe. Call a friend who will lift you up. Take a drive. Walk in the sun...

Give yourself grace. You don’t have to be all things to all people today. You can just be.

Speak up next time. Let your people know what you want—next year. Say it early. Say it clearly. You deserve a day that reflects how much you give. It's ok to change how you do things.

Connect with someone who gets it. Maybe that’s me. Maybe it’s a friend. But don’t stay in the quiet too long—your voice matters.

We’re here to hold space for you. Not just for massages and facials—but for restoration. For being seen. For taking a deep breath and feeling held—physically, emotionally, spiritually.

This post isn't an ad. It’s an open hand.

From one mom to another—from one woman who sometimes feels invisible too—this is your reminder:
You are so deeply loved, even on the days when it doesn’t feel like it.
Take today. Take tomorrow. Take any day. And let it be for you.
